TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

The reason I want to be a teacher is because I want to empower students. As a teacher, I am more than just an educator–I’m a mentor, a motivator and a friend. Many students need love, reassurance and attention, and I want to be that person that builds them up.

I want to show my students that with commitment and hard work, they are capable of anything and can be anything that they want to be. Through love and understanding, I believe that I can help students achieve their highest potential.

I believe that students learn better when they are in a supportive learning environment. They are more willing to take risks and make mistakes if they feel safe, valued, included, and empowered. So I believe it’s important for me to build relationships with students and build relationships between students.
